Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Winnipeg location.

This individual will be responsible for completing on-site Preventive Maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and a purpose-built truck.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
  • Identifying and reporting additional items requiring follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician
  • Ensuring accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklists, inspections, and work order information for customer reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills
  • The successful candidate must be motivated, energetic, and possess strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work after-hours and participate in shift-work as needed to support customer requirements
  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience
  • Experience operating, servicing, or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
  • Trade experience at a second- or third-year apprentice level is encouraged to apply
  • Proven experience working directly with customers and equipment operators in a service-oriented environment
  • Motivated, energetic, with strong communication skills
  • Willing to work after-hours and participate in shift-work as needed
  • A recent driver’s abstract will be required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
