Moose Cree First Nation is seeking a Circle Facilitator in Moose Factory, ON. The role reports to the Director of Child and Family Well-Being and focuses on preparing and facilitating Circles, and referring to ADR as needed, while upholding mission, policies and cultural values.
The position requires a Social Services or Indigenous Services diploma (or BSW) or Circle Facilitator certification, plus strong knowledge of circle facilitation, ADR, and child welfare processes.
Job Location: Moose Factory, ON
The Circle Facilitator reports to the Director of Child and Family Well-Being and is responsible to prepare and facilitate Circles and make referrals to formal Alternative Dispute Resolution processes, when necessary, in keeping with Moose Cree First Nations Child & Family Well-Being’s mission, vision, and values. The Circle Facilitator, in collaboration with the Cultural Services Supervisor, interprets Moose Cree First Nations Child & Family Services policies and procedures and ensures legislative standards are maintained while providing mediation and support, respecting the culture of the child(ren), youth, families and community involved.
Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
