The Ministry of Highways, Provincial Operational Services Branch, is seeking an innovative, responsible and motivated Preventative Maintenance Specialist headquartered in any of the following locations: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or Moose Jaw. You will collaborate with the Fleet Services Team to enhance public safety by strengthening preventative maintenance programs and increasing equipment operator awareness. This includes providing education on the regulatory and legal responsibilities involved in operating a commercial fleet, ensuring compliance and reducing risk across the Ministry’s operations.Reporting to the Fleet Asset Management Engineer you will bring strong networking and interpersonal skills. To qualify for this position you will possess the following:
The knowledge and abilities required for this position are typically acquired through experience in fleet management, preventative maintenance, training and educating equipment operators, and ensuring compliance with commercial fleet regulations.
Travel required: Approximately 50% of the time within the province.
