Job description

We're seeking a PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) Technician to join our client in Edmonton.

What We Offer :
  • Salary: 38 - 40 CAD Per Hour
  • Job Type / Shift: Temporary
What You'll Do :
  1. Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
  2. Communicate with equipment owners for authorization of servicing and repairs as required.
  3. Clean valves for inspection, inspect internal parts including measurement and documentation of critical dimensions.
  4. Update and maintain documentation information for the valves.
  5. Assemble and test valves to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
  6. Service and repair equipment in the shop and on-site for customers using a mobile service unit.
  7. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
  8. Communicate equipment servicing needs with Branch Supervisor / Manager.
  9. Complete work orders and service paperwork.
  10. Participate in manufacturer and in-house service training, which may occur during or after work hours.
  11. Meet requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
  12. Handle warehousing functions, including shipping coordination, order inspection, inventory transfers within ERP systems, parts picking, and maintaining a safety-forward environment.
What We're Looking For :
  • Education: Trade certification, Journeyman Red Seal certification is required.
  • Work Experience: 1+ years.
  • Knowledge: Proficient written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work with customers; excellent mechanical aptitude, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
