Press Operator II

Apply today to be a Press Operator with one of the most innovative and trusted packaging companies in the world. Printpack is seeking qualified candidates to fill Press Operator positions at our Elgin, IL plant.

Essential Job Functions include:
  1. Set up and operate rotogravure printing press
  2. Monitor equipment and the production process to ensure quality
  3. Demonstrate solid working knowledge of the raw materials and film used
  4. Support team activities related to process decisions and goals through effective interaction skills
  5. Follow plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and maintain good housekeeping standards
  6. Enter and retrieve data into the computer system
  7. Monitor inks and adhesives
Minimum Requirements:
  • Prior experience operating a Rotogravure or Flexo press
  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
