Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

Reporting to the Production Supervisors, the Press Helper’s role is to assist the Press Operator with the running of the press in a way that maximizes productivity. The Helper will learn how to compare samples of printing to a master sample for quality assurance, monitor ink levels used at the press, fill ink buckets with the proper inks, splice plastic from an old roll onto the new roll for continuity of the print job and palletize finished rolls and stage them for shipment. All employees are required to adhere to quality and workplace organization standards, comply with safety policies and procedures ensuring that all Health and Safety standards are understood and practiced in a safe manner, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • You can work 8-hour rotating shifts, days, nights & afternoons.
  • You’re a team player, and you are reliable.
  • You can meet the bona fide physical requirements to carry out the duties of the role, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs regularly. All required PPE is provided.
  • You can read, write, and speak fluent English and effectively work with all levels of the organization and demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude.
