Job summary

The Water Security Agency Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, seeks a President & Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and organizational direction for a complex public sector agency. The Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next President & Chief Executive Officer. As Saskatchewan's provincial water management agency, WSA plays a critical role in protecting water resources, managing vital infrastructure, reducing flood and drought risk and supporting sustainable economic growth across the province.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO provides strategic leadership and organizational direction for a complex public sector organization. The successful candidate will lead the execution of WSA's strategic priorities, foster a high-performing and engaged workplace culture and build strong relationships with government, Indigenous communities, municipalities, industry partners and stakeholders across Saskatchewan.

The ideal candidate will bring significant senior executive leadership experience, a strong track record of leading organizational performance and transformation and demonstrated expertise in governance, financial stewardship and stakeholder engagement. Experience within the public sector, infrastructure, environmental stewardship, natural resources or a related field would be considered an asset.
