Job summary

Stinson Design, a Toronto-based visual communications consultancy, seeks a Presentation Designer (internal title Presentation Consultant) to craft clear, engaging presentations with sharp visuals, animations and tailored graphics. You will collaborate with project managers and creative directors to translate complex content into compelling PowerPoint designs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of presentation design experience.
• 3+ years in client-facing roles with executives and stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design presentations with clear, engaging visuals, animations, and tailored graphics.
• Collaborate with clients and account managers to discuss objectives and requirements.
• Meet clients and project managers to align on business goals for each project.
• Attend kickoff and feedback calls and follow up as required.
• Ensure projects meet technical requirements and uphold brand standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve project objectives.
• Present ideas and concepts to clients and provide design QA.

Job Description

Stinson is looking for a Presentation Designer (internal title is Presentation Consultant) to work as a visual knowledge translation expert. You will work closely with our project managers and creative directors to create clear and engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics. With a balance of autonomy and guided training, our designers become experts in visual communication, design consulting, and of course, PowerPoint design.

Some Of What You'll Do

• Designing with purpose - understanding the content of presentations and utilizing design best practices in your work;
• Working closely with our clients to create clear, engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics;
• Meeting clients and/or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of each project;
• Attending project kick-off and feedback calls with clients and following up as required;
• Ensuring projects meet technical requirements and objectives within scope while upholding the brands' standards;
• Collaborating with team members from other departments to meet project objectives;
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
• Presenting ideas and concepts to clients;
• Providing quality assurance - design and content QAing your own work to provide high-quality results;
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in design and AI.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of presentation design experience;
• 3+ years experience in client-facing roles with excellent verbal and written comprehension. Specifically, you have experience working closely with executives, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback;
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, agency environment;
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management skills;
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
• Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography;
• Ability to quickly digest information;
• A degree in graphic design or a related field is an asset.
• Ability to travel to the US and Europe

Compensation

The starting base pay range for this role is CAD $60,000 - CAD $70,000 per year.
