Job description

Position : Presales Security Expert Public Sector

Objective :

We are seeking a Presales Security Expert for the Public Sector to collaborate closely with a Regional Account Manager within a defined territory. The main mission of the Systems Engineer will be to support the sales team in all technical aspects related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities.

Responsibilities :

  1. Pre-sales: Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
  2. Sales calls: Serve as the primary technical resource during sales calls, educating customers and partners on features, specifications, functionalities, and integrations.
  3. Be knowledgeable about networking applications and solutions.
  4. Post-sales: Act as the lead technical contact for designated accounts, working closely with the technical support and engineering teams to address, escalate, and resolve technical issues.
  5. Provide post-sales training and support to selected customers.

Required Skills :

  1. 3-5 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  3. Knowledge of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus.
  4. Strong understanding of protocols and technologies including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
  5. Experience with encryption and authentication technologies is required.
  6. The Presales Security Expert for the Public Sector should be willing to work outside the office regularly, including travel to meet sales objectives.

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is a plus.
