This full-time Presales Engineer (Virtualization) role at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is located in the Lavender Central Region. The role is responsible for providing pre-sales support and technical solutions to drive growth and success for the company's virtualization products and services.

What you'll be doing

  • Understanding customer requirements and mapping them to appropriate virtualization solutions
  • Conducting product demonstrations and proof of concepts to showcase the capabilities of VSTECS' virtualization offerings
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and provide technical expertise
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest virtualization technologies, trends and industry developments
  • Providing post-sales support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Preparing technical proposals, presentations and documentation to support the sales process

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role, preferably in the virtualization domain
  • Excellent understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, customer-friendly explanations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and address customer needs
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
