Job description

Le St-Patrick is a private residence for seniors located in Upper Town Quebec City, two blocks from the Plains of Abraham. We are looking for someone to fill a part-time daytime beneficiary attendant position under ACT 90 on weekends. Group insurance and benefits. Stable hours. Free indoor parking.

Location Name: RESIDENCE LE ST-PATRICK

Job Status: Permanent: Part Time

Purpose of the position

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday during the day. Salary: according to experience starting at $19.50 per hour.

Specifically, your daily life with us will look like:

  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around.
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a resident's action plan based on their observations.
  • Respond to all emergency situations.
  • Respect and promote proactive care among residents.
  • Comply with standards and regulations in accordance with the certification of private seniors' residences and employer policies.
  • Provide a range of health and hygiene care while respecting the integrity and dignity of residents, in collaboration with the team.

  • Listening skills and consideration.
Required qualifications:
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training.
  • PDSP Training.
  • AP/RPA or DEP training in assistance to people in establishments and at home.
