Job summary

Intact is seeking a Vehicle Attendant for our growing team at the Service Centre in Dorval, QC. You will manage damaged insured vehicles, ensure safety and weather protection, and prepare claims while coordinating vehicle movement to repairs. A valid driver's license and bilingual English/French communication are required.

The position is on-site, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or combination of education and experience
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Able to move vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
• Minimum 1 year of work experience
• Experience in this field is an asset
• Passion for customer service

• Bilingual French and English – must interact with an English-speaking clientele regularly
• This role is exclusively on-site at the Service Centre, 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Handle damaged insured vehicles at the Service Centre, ensuring safety and weather protection
• Prepare claim files for damaged vehicles (odometer, fuel level, etc.). Wash and dry vehicles before/after repairs. Move vehicles to/from repair shops, driving insured vehicles in a safe, compliant manner
• Perform cleaning, snow removal and maintenance tasks in the Service Centre workshop
• Proactively support colleagues and suppliers

37,400 - 45,700

About the role

Nous cherchons un Préposé aux véhicules pour notre équipe grandissante!

Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous :

• Prise en charge des véhicules accidentés des assurés au Centre de Service, en assurer leur sécurité et protection envers les intempéries.

• Préparation des dossiers de réclamations en lien avec les véhicules accidentés (prise de kilométrage, vérification de niveau d’essence/d’autonomie, …). Lavage et séchage minutieux de véhicules avant et après réparations. Effectuer les transferts de véhicules d’assurés vers et en provenance des ateliers de réparations en conduisant les véhicules des assurés avec respect et de façon sécuritaire en lien avec les standards la compagnie et les lois applicable au Québec (code de la route). Déplacement et placement de véhicules sur le site du Centre de Service (intérieur et extérieur)

• Effectuer les tâches de nettoyage, déneigement et entretien de l’atelier du Centre de Service Plus.

• Soutenir de façon proactive vos collègues et les fournisseurs.

Ce que vous mettrez à profit :

• Diplôme d’études collégial, ou toute combinaison de formation et d’expérience équivalente
• Détenir un permis de conduire valide et un excellent dossier de conduite
• Être en mesure de déplacer des véhicules de transmissions automatique et manuelle
• Minimum 1 année d’expérience de travail
• Expérience de travail dans ce domaine (ou domaine connexe) un atout
• Passion pour le service à la clientèle
• Esprit d’équipe et adaptabilité
• Professionnalisme et sens des responsabilités

35 heures par semaine pendant nos heures d’opérations du lundi au vendredi de 9h - 17h.
