Walmart Canada is seeking a friendly Self-Checkout Attendant to support a smooth, fast-paced shopping experience. You will assist customers at self-checkout, promote Walmart programs, and help maintain a clean, safe area.

This role requires excellent customer service, the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and physical stamina for standing and light lifting. Minimum age is 16, with entry-level opportunities available.

Responsabilités

• Maintain self-checkout area standards, keep area clean, safe, and organized.
• Promote Walmart programs and initiatives (credit options, product protection plans, charitable initiatives) when applicable.
• Assist customers at self-checkout, explain interventions clearly, and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond to EAS alarms and complete the required log (Failure to Deactivate).
• Return Scan & Go equipment to designated storage locations after use.
• Be flexible with shifts to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete DocumentationResponds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.Manage Scan & Go EquipmentEnsures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
