Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Deli Clerk at an independently owned and operated franchised/affiliate store location. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, process deli orders, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires adhering to Food Safety Protocols and corporate policies, assisting with merchandising, training junior staff, and promoting products to increase store sales in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform program execution and merchandising of product.
• Handle and prepare deli products.
• Increase store sales by actively promoting products.
• Participate in the training of junior staff.
• Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required.
• Process department shrink.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements.
• Other duties as required.
