Prep Cook - The Canadian Brewhouse @ Lake Country Co-op Prince Albert

Join our Prince Albert #BrewCrew! We’re seeking Part-time Prep Cooks passionate about creating delicious dishes that keep our guests coming back.

Your Purpose: As a Prep Cook, you are essential to our kitchen operations, preparing ingredients and ensuring readiness to deliver quality dishes daily.

What will you do?

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking and garnishes
  • Label and store prepped ingredients to maintain freshness
  • Follow recipes and procedures according to the Kitchen Manager and Brewhouse menu
  • Support cooks by preparing sauces, marinades, and dressings
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized station with accessible tools and ingredients

What do you need?

  • Passion for cooking, fun, and being 19+ years old
  • Basic culinary skills, including knife techniques
  • Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge
  • Understanding of food handling, storage, and sanitation
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • FoodSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to meet physical job requirements
