An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of foods and ingredients, ensuring high quality and resident satisfaction. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of foods and ingredients to ensure high quality and resident satisfaction, while maintaining cleanliness of the food service area.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Training and Experience: Previous food service experience preferred. Serve Safe Certification required.
Job Knowledge: Knowledge of safe food handling and preparation, good practices to avoid waste, presenting foods attractively, and testing food quality by taste and smell. Broad knowledge of breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrees, as well as scratch soups, sauces/gravies, starches, and vegetables.
Education (Preferred): General Equivalency Degree or higher, High School diploma or higher.
Licenses & Certifications (Preferred): Serve Safe Certification.
