Job summary

Armani Caffè in Vancouver is seeking a Prep Cook to join a diverse culinary and service team dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience rooted in warmth, authenticity, precision, and hospitality of the Giorgio Armani brand.

You will complete daily food preparation, follow recipes and production plans, maintain organized workstations, and ensure ingredients are prepared, labelled, stored, and ready for service, with attention to detail and teamwork under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of prep cook, line cook, kitchen, food production, or comparable hospitality experience preferred
  • FoodSafe Level 1 certification is preferred and must be obtained and maintained where required
  • Working knowledge of basic food preparation techniques, knife safety, kitchen sanitation, temperature control, date labelling, food rotation, and allergen awareness
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes, production lists, verbal instructions, and portion specifications accurately
  • Strong communication, organization, time-management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to remain composed and productive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin, or other language skills are not required but are considered a strong asset

  • Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to support product quality, timely execution, and a refined caffè experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization, follow food safety procedures, and ensure accuracy of portions and labeling
  • Support team with proper rotation, storage, and retrieval of ingredients to meet service demand
  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service and a superior guest experience

Job description

As a Prep Cook at Armani Caffè, you will be part of a diverse culinary and service team committed to creating an exceptional guest experience rooted in warmth, authenticity, precision, and genuine hospitality. You will prepare high-quality ingredients and menu components with consistency and care, supporting efficient service and embodying the elegance, excellence, and hospitality of the Giorgio Armani brand.

In this role, you will complete daily food preparation, follow recipes and production plans, maintain organized workstations, and ensure ingredients are prepared, labelled, stored, and available for service. Your attention to detail, sense of urgency, and coordination with the kitchen and front-of-house teams will support product quality, timely execution, and a refined caffè experience.

Qualifications & Skills
