Job summary

Armani Caffè in Vancouver is seeking a Barista to greet guests, learn preferences, and recommend menu items while delivering high-quality beverages and attentive service.

You will craft coffee and non-alcoholic drinks, maintain cleanliness and food safety, and support a refined guest experience in a luxury setting at Giorgio Armani's brand flagship location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of bartending or hospitality experience preferred, luxury experience is an asset.
• Serving It Right and legal eligibility to serve alcohol in BC required; FoodSafe Level 1 preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and beverage pairings expected.

As a Barista at Armani Caffè, you will be part of a diverse service team committed to creating an exceptional guest experience rooted in warmth, authenticity, precision, and genuine hospitality. You will craft and serve high-quality coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as curated menu items, delivering exceptional service that drives sales and embodies the elegance, excellence, and hospitality of the Giorgio Armani brand.

In this role, you will welcome guests, learn their preferences, provide thoughtful menu recommendations, and execute beverage and service standards consistently. Your attention to detail, product knowledge, and presence on the floor will support efficient service flow, strong guest relationships, and a refined caffè environment.

To succeed in this role, you are collaborative, composed under pressure, results-oriented, and committed to working with integrity. You take pride in beverage craftsmanship, cleanliness, food safety, and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one (1+) year of bartending, premium food and beverage, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred; luxury hospitality experience is an asset
• Serving It Right certification and legal eligibility to serve alcohol in British Columbia are required; FoodSafe Level 1 & First Aid certification is preferred and must be obtained and maintained where required
• Working knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, responsible alcohol service, and beverage pairings is required
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, listening, and guest service skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience with bar tools, beverage equipment, espresso equipment, and point-of-sale systems is preferred; willingness and ability to learn approved recipes and preparation techniques is essential
• Open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
• Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin, or other language skills are not required but are considered a strong asset
