Job summary

The Dufresne Group in Mississauga is hiring a Pre-Loader for the distribution centre at 333 Matheson Blvd West. You will load products safely, inspect items, and support on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid G license, 6 months to 1 year of loading or delivery experience, and good communication and physical stamina. Competitive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience.
• Valid G Class Driver's License held for at least 1 year with a clean Driver's Abstract.
• 6 months to 1 year of Loading or Delivery Driver experience.
• Experience with hand tools is an asset.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to operate varying equipment (load securement, blankets, straps, etc.).
• Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 - 100 pounds.
• Ability to adapt to change in a business environment.
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
• Criminal Record Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Load products safely, efficiently, and in manifest order into company delivery vehicles.
• Inspect items for showroom-quality standards and verify correct piece counts.
• Reject products that do not meet company quality expectations.
• Collaborate with Distribution Centre shipping personnel to complete loading on time.
• Provide short-term emergency support with home deliveries when required.
• Follow all safe-work practices, policies, and operational procedures.
• Maintain delivery vehicles by ensuring full fuel levels and proper DEF replenishment.
