Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking a Preconstruction Specialist to support the preconstruction team from go/no-go through award and handover. The role provides technical expertise in conceptual design, scope development, estimating, procurement planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and proposal development.

You will work closely with Business Development, Engineering, Estimating, Procurement, Operations, Safety, and Project Management to develop technically sound, executable, and competitive bids

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience supporting preconstruction, estimating, procurement, or project controls.
Knowledge of utility, transmission, substation, or EPC projects an asset.

Responsibilities

Support all preconstruction activities from go/no-go through award and handover.
Provide technical input for conceptual design, scope development, and risk assessment.
Coordinate with Estimating, Procurement, Operations, and Business Development to develop competitive bids.
Assist in procurement planning, supplier qualification, and bid packages.
Support project handover and post-award clarifications as needed.
