Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Parts Picker to locate, select, and prepare parts for shipment or production. You will follow picking lists and ensure accuracy to meet deadlines, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

This role requires experience in warehouse operations, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, familiarity with forklifts, and a collaborative yet independent work style. Training provided for forklift/overhead crane.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations or order picking preferred.
• Ability to read and understand order sheets and picking lists.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment (forklifts) is an advantage.
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and time management.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Able to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack parts for machines, aftermarket or transfers, following SOPs with guidance.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading with guidance.
• Move materials within the warehouse following first in, first out.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrap, boxing, labeling).
• Check output to ensure highest quality.
• Report issues or defective parts.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues while working autonomously on tasks.
