Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate degree with related experience.
• Experience in ISO 9000/AS9100 and Lean Manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Ability to safely handle delicate optical parts and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex mechanical and optical schematics for precise assembly, testing and alignment.
• Assemble, test, operate and troubleshoot complex opto-mechanical assemblies following established processes.
• Diagnose optical and mechanical components to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve faults and improve processes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of maintenance, test results and implemented solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
