Job description

We are a fast-growing international high-tech company offering high-performance non-destructive testing solutions for the inspection of critical components. On a day-to-day basis, we develop, produce and market non-destructive testing devices : sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Our instruments have applications in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, aerospace and nuclear.

Are you up for a challenge in the world of high-tech? We'd love to have you on board! Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Precision Assembler to join our Production team.

Your daily life :

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible to perform a variety of high-precision assembly tasks. Using assembly procedures, mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams, you will ensure the accuracy of the assembling. You will use your experience, attention to detail and dexterity to deliver quality products.

In this role, you will :

  • Wire, weld and assemble various components for mechanical, electronic or electrical systems;
  • Repair or update units and products;
  • Maintain production and quality standards;
  • Communicate irregularities in assembly procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity and quality to production team leader;
  • Use precision tools and measuring devices to perform assembly activities;
  • Follow verbal and written instructions such as detailed drawings, schematics, procedures and assembly sketches when performing various assembly and sub-assembly tasks.

What We’re Looking For :

  • You have a highschool diploma or a diploma in electronics repair or assembling or a related field;
  • You are comfortable working with a microscope;
  • You are independent, resourceful and a good team player.
  • You are meticulous, rigorous and have excellent dexterity.

You Will Be Offered :

  • A 36-hour week, Monday to Thursday, with a premium of $3.50 per hour;
