Job summary

Premier Equipment is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment. You will be the go-to expert for customers, handling routine maintenance to advanced diagnostics and supporting precision ag technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on service repair experience.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and basic computer functions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75lbs. repeatedly and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, CWP, and turf equipment, as well as established AMS products.
• Participates in required Service EDUCATE training programs.
• Supports customer clinics.
• Reviews and explains maintenance, repair, or other service concerns with customers and documents them on work orders.
• May promote Premier Equipment service programs directly to customers.
• May establish stocking processes with Parts to maintain seasonal inventory in the vehicle.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Follows safety rules and completes reports and forms.
• Accounts for time and materials used in duties.
