Job description

Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Coordinator

The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring quality assurance objectives during the Pre-PDI and PDI process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor QA objectives during project stages, focusing on pre-PDI, PDI, and turnover stages of suites and common elements.
  2. Identify potential issues affecting building quality and mitigate systemic failures through quality checks, consultant reviews, signoffs, and regular communication with site staff.
  3. Input and track deficiencies across all post-construction stages using Procore.
  4. Schedule and follow up with trades and Handyman to ensure timely completion of deficiencies.
  5. Review contract drawings and specifications related to finishing trades to ensure compliance with Fitzrovia standards.
  6. Implement QA programs for underground, amenities, suites, common elements, and back-of-house areas.
  7. Coordinate with on-site construction staff to meet or exceed Fitzrovia finishing standards.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the construction team.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  1. At least 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably on-site.
  2. Knowledge of construction processes, including phases, pre-construction, and construction.
  3. Ability to read and interpret design and construction documents and drawings.
  4. Experience with Procore is an asset.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  6. Understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) is required.
  7. Knowledge of NFPA and AODA is an asset.
