Job Title: Practice Manager | GP Practice

Location: Golders Green Diagnostics & Outpatients Centre

Permanent, Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Hybrid working following the completion of probation (1-2 WFH days)

Shift Times: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm (With flexibility to do early shift, from 7:30am, or late shift – until 6pm)

Salary: Competitive.

We’re looking for a Practice Manager to join our GP team based at Golders Green Diagnostics & Outpatients Centre. As a vital part of our team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy practice, managing a team of medical secretaries and collaborating with two Consultants. .

What You’ll Do

  • Operational Management: Oversee clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and smooth coordination across teams.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team, promoting a positive work culture and fostering professional growth.
  • Patient Care: Ensure high-quality, compassionate care and a seamless patient experience from start to finish.
  • Compliance & Quality: Maintain regulatory compliance, implement quality assurance programs, and manage clinic systems to ensure excellence in patient services.
  • Financial Oversight of the clinic.

What You’ll Bring

  • Prior experience as a Practice Manager in a healthcare or clinical setting (private sector preferred)
  • Several years of experience within people management is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a diverse team and drive operational success.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical office operations, and patient care.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in using hospital or clinical IT systems
