Role Overview

As a Practice Management Consultant at Scotia Securities Inc., you will support a territory of Financial Planners by providing practice management and product strategy guidance. Your main responsibilities include consulting with Investment Specialists, enhancing skills, and implementing best practices to improve employee experience, advice quality, and drive AUM growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the subject matter expert for practice management and product strategy supporting Financial Planners.
  2. Proactively identify Financial Planners’ needs, address skill gaps, and deliver value to their business.
  3. Conduct consultations and skill-building sessions covering financial markets, investment fundamentals, tools, and mutual fund solutions.
  4. Act as the liaison between Financial Planners and wholesale support channels.
  5. Share insights with leadership to support strategic initiatives.
  6. Collaborate with Financial Planners to support customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  7. Engage with Regional Managers and VPs to ensure territory coverage meets business objectives.
  8. Develop and execute a focused business plan to achieve AUM growth.
  9. Partner with internal teams (Sales, Product, Communications) to align business needs.
Qualifications
  1. Proven ability to drive customer-centric business growth.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in distributing long-term investment solutions.
  3. Minimum 3 years in financial planning and investment distribution.
  4. Strong relationship management skills.
  5. Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
