Your Opportunity

Our Power group seeks an experienced Business Centre Practice Leader to act in a Director-level capacity, based in Ontario, with time in Waterloo and/or Markham offices. As a leader, you'll deliver power solutions for clients, winning pursuits, building teams, and executing large-scale projects. This role offers leadership growth potential and a hybrid work model that balances office, field, and home work.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Client Focus: Manage client relationships, exceed expectations, achieve marketing and business development goals, conduct client feedback surveys, lead pursuits, and drive client satisfaction.
  • Business Development and Collaboration: Contribute to win strategies, develop business growth plans, increase visibility through client engagement, and foster collaboration across geographies and lines of business.
  • Project Focus: Lead delivery of large pursuits, participate in project content, oversee risk management, and ensure project excellence and technical quality.
  • People Leadership: Attract and retain top talent, engage with employees, support career development, manage performance, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Influence and Support: Act as a strategic advisor, involve in key client relationships, promote a culture of innovation and integrity, and support operational and financial planning.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Heavy Industrial Processes, Energy, Power Delivery, Renewable Energy, Hydropower.
  • Strong understanding of the Power industry and project opportunity evaluation.
  • Proven success in team collaboration, pursuit wins, and project delivery on time and budget.

Education and Experience

  • Electrical, Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) registration in Canada.
  • Minimum 15 years of Power design and project engineering experience.
