Job description

We are looking for a Social Media Practice Lead who will report to the Manager, Global Marketing Operations & Brand Office. As the Social Media Practice Lead, you will serve as the central expert guiding our social media strategy, standards, measurement frameworks, and best practices globally. You’ll be a key player in BRP’s growth by partnering with global teams, communications leads, and brand stakeholders to ensure consistent, impactful, and risk-managed use of social media aligned with our overall brand and business goals.


YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop Practice Leadership: Develop and manage a cohesive global social media practice, including strategy, governance framework, playbooks, and operating model to support local and global needs of our brands.

  • Own Standards & Governance: Establish social media policies, compliance guidelines, approval processes, and risk mitigation strategies, particularly related to reputational issues.

  • Improve Measurement & Reporting: Define KPIs and performance measurement frameworks; oversee global reporting to monitor effectiveness, share insights, and inform continuous improvement.

  • Drive Innovation & Trends: Monitor emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies to recommend innovations that advance the practice and enhance engagement.

  • Own Partners Management: Manage relationships with key social media tools/platforms, consultants, and technology vendors supporting the practice as well as key paid media partners such as Google and Meta, ensuring performance, innovation, and alignment with brand and business objectives.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in social media strategy and/or digital marketing, with significant experience in a matrixed or multinational environment.

  • Strong understanding of social media analytics, tools, governance, and regulatory considerations.

  • Proven experience building and scaling a social media function across multiple geographies or business units.

  • Experience using Sprout Social (or similar enterprise-level social media management platforms) and managing relationships with key social platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Exceptional drive and curiosity to align priorities with various stakeholders.

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is required as the social media practice lead will interact on a daily basis with English-speaking stakeholders across the world.
