A community college in British Columbia is seeking a temporary full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing Program to teach Integrated Nursing Practice 3. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or degree, teaching experience, and a strong commitment to supporting diverse student populations. This position runs from December 2025 to January 2026, offering competitive pay based on experience.
Term of Appt: December 2025 - January 2026 (30 hrs/wk)

Reporting to: Dean of Health Sciences & Human Services
Salary: $45.60 - $56.75/hr, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional 2% in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay. The period of campus closure that occurs between Christmas and New Year’s Day is unpaid time.
NLC's Practical Nursing Program requires a temporary, full-time instructor to deliver PNUR 235: Integrated Nursing Practice 3.
This course builds on the theory and practice from Levels A (APN program) or Levels 1 and 2 (PN Program). Through a variety of approaches (e.g., simulation), learners will continue to develop knowledge and practice of comprehensive nursing assessment, planning for, and interventions for clients experiencing multiple health challenges in a variety of settings.
Students are in class from December 15, 2025 – January 26, 2026 (no classes during Christmas Closure).
