Job description
Job Description: PR 205 (Social Responsibility and Ethics) Online Delivery - Winter 2026 Term

This course will provide an understanding of current ethical questions and professional codes of ethics when performing public relations tasks for media, the public, and other constituencies. Case studies and current literature will be used to explore applications of ethical practice in crisis situations. Issues related to corporate social responsibility will be emphasized, including the PR professional’s role in managing and reflecting an organization’s corporate culture.

Position Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
  • Accreditation with CPRS and/or IABC an asset.
  • Online teaching experience and a familiarity with UR Courses an asset.

Candidates should include a cover letter, current curriculum vitae and a teaching dossier with their application. The teaching dossier should contain a statement of your teaching philosophy and previous student evaluations (if any).
