Client Profile
Our client are operate within the construction sector and arecurrently undergoing a restructure in their finance team after recently being acquired, to strengthen their finance team they are seeking to appoint a Part Qualified Accountant.

The Role: Assistant Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant

This role is a general role within a busy Finance function of a growing organisation. This role reports to the Finance Director and will gain exposure to all areas of finance in line with progression of the Accountancy exams.

• Full ownership of AP
• Bank reconciliations and bank account management
• Preparation of key metrics and automating reporting process
• Management of overheads and cost control
• Assist with management of audit
• Preparation and filing of statutory accounts and other statutory returns
• Improve policies and procedures
• Ad-hoc projects

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following skills or experiences:

• Relevant experience in a broad role in a Finance team, ideally suited to a Part Qualified Accountant
• Highly analytical
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
