Job summary

Alcool NB Liquor in Fredericton is seeking Permanent Part-Time Retail Sales Associates to help deliver great customer experiences. You will support stock handling, cashier tasks, and routine store operations as part of a collaborative retail team.

The role requires Grade 12 or GED, at least one year of customer service or retail experience, and English and French language skills at an intermediate level. You will work a minimum 30 hours weekly, including Fridays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or GED. Additional education will help in the competition.
• Must handle numerical and alphabetical detail and resolve problems.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service or retail.
• Spoken and written communication meeting required standards.

About the Position

Permanent Part-Time Retail Sales Associates are engaged and energetic members of the Retail team. They bring skills in customer service, teamwork, and problem solving, and consistently act with initiative and good judgement.

PPTs are scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours a week, including Fridays, weekends, and additional shifts when requested by the Employer. They are entitled to one Saturday and one Sunday off every fourth week, with the option to work these days if requested. On occasion, they may be required to perform the duties of a higher classification as assigned by the Employer. The successful PPT candidate will be required to work at the assigned store for a minimum period of six months, however they may be transferred to another location without notice. All team members must comply with ANBL’s obligations under the NB Official Languages Act.
