Job summary

A Powersport service shop in Regina is seeking an experienced Service Technician to provide high-quality customer service and perform mechanical repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, and snowmobiles. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the Powersports or Automotive industry and be mechanically inclined. Compensation includes an hourly wage, performance bonuses, and employee benefits after 6 months.

Overview

Platinum Recreation & Powersports Ltd. founded in 2012 is a Powersport shop specializing in Motorcycle, ATV, MX, SxS, Snowmobile and Marine parts, accessories apparel & service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, dependable, high-quality service to customer and internal units.
  • Perform tire installation and balancing, engine and transmission servicing and rebuilds, suspension servicing and rebuilds, carburetor servicing, electrical and unit diagnosing for street and competition motorcycles, ATVs, side by sides and snowmobiles.
  • At Platinum Recreation, our Service Technicians are the backend support for ensuring that each customer\'s unit is taken care of with the utmost attention & detail. Our Service Techs must be committed to being a team player that inspires our team, helps our customer\'s success and is committed to growing the business & profitability with integrity.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience with the Powersports or Automotive industry.
  • Applicants are required to be mechanically inclined & have the ability to quickly learn.
  • A current class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License with Motorcycle endorsement would be an asset but is not required at time of hiring.
  • Technician owned tools are required; a monthly tool allowance may be provided.
Compensation

Successful candidate will be paid in accordance to their qualifications & experience. Compensation will include hourly wage plus performance bonuses, the aforementioned possible monthly tool allowance, employee pension with company matching program, employee purchase program & optional benefits program after 6 months.
