Job summary

Flair Airlines Ltd. in Calgary, AB, is seeking a Technical Services Engineer – Powerplant Systems (TSE-PS) to provide engineering support for engines and related systems.

You will analyze reliability data, develop corrective actions, and support maintenance procedures to ensure fleet safety and airworthiness. This on-site role offers collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering, OEMs, and MROs, with exposure to regulatory requirements and fleet performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Valid Transport Canada AME M license with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• FAA A&P or EASA Part-66 B1 license is considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of powerplant systems experience with CFM/LEAP engines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for engines and powerplant systems across fleet.
• Analyze reliability data and develop corrective actions and repair solutions.
• Review borescope findings against OEM specifications and requirements.
• Liaise with OEMs on ICA Deviations, SRs, and technical matters.
• Act as Technical Rep for engine shop visits when required.
• Develop engineering orders and instructions for repairs and modifications.
