A leading company in utility construction is seeking Powerline Technician Apprentices in North Battleford, SK. Duties include assisting with electrical transmission and distribution facilities, gaining practical experience alongside certified technicians, and adhering to safety protocols. This role offers a valuable opportunity to progress towards certification in a supportive team environment.
Our Transmission & Distribution group is currently looking to add Powerline Technician (PLT) Apprentices to our growing team in North Battleford, SK.
Reporting to the Manager, Saskatchewan Operations, the PLT Apprentices will assist in the installation, rearrangement, maintenance, operation, removal, and inspection of electrical transmission and distribution facilities, drive and operate line trucks and associated equipment, and perform other miscellaneous and other duties as required.
We are open to new Apprentices who are registered with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC), as well as Apprentices Level One through Four who are looking to continue their journey towards their Interprovincial Journeyperson Powerline Technician Certificate.
