About the Role
As a Line Powerline Technician at ATCO Electric, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and constructing electrical transmission and distribution lines. Your work ensures reliable electricity supply to communities and businesses. Safety protocols and preventive maintenance are key aspects of this role. Additionally, as a journeyperson, you’ll assist in developing PLT Apprentices and other new employees.
While we are seeking a qualified Journeyperson, we may consider applications from registered apprentices should a suitable journeyperson not be found.

An expectation of the Powerline Technician line position is to sometimes provide after-hours stand-by duties. As such, you will be required to maintain a residence within the established service point boundary for Slave Lake AB.
