We are seeking skilled Powerline Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Install, maintain, remove, and restore (steel, wood, composite, or concrete) poles, towers, and structures for powerlines.
  2. Substation Techs: Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and industry codes (National Electrical Safety Code).
  3. Install, maintain, and repair electrical power lines (overhead and underground).
  4. Inspect and test equipment for safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  5. Respond to emergency situations, including power outages, ensuring quick restoration of service.
  6. Perform line switching and conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
  7. Operate and maintain equipment such as bucket trucks, power tools, and lineman's tools.
  8. Adhere to safety standards and regulations (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, and other industry-specific protocols).
  9. Complete and maintain work reports and ensure proper documentation.
  10. Work with electrical engineers on design, load calculations, and safety measures.
  11. Occasionally work at heights and in harsh weather conditions, especially during storms.
  12. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments for safe and effective operations.
