Job summary

Ledcor in Calgary seeks a PowerApps Specialist to maintain, enhance, and develop content in our PowerApps catalogue. You will document processes, host training, and mentor BI team members and business partners.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, release management, and ensuring solutions meet security and governance standards. This is a 6-month contract position based in Calgary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining Power Apps solutions.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of business intelligence, analytics, and reporting systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and reporting deliverables.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and develop business-critical Power Apps solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, resolve production issues, and improve application performance.
• Create test plans and conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing.
• Manage application releases, changes, documentation, and lifecycle activities.
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, access, and organizational standards.
• Create detailed documentation for reference and troubleshooting.
• Host knowledge transfer and training sessions for BI team members and business partners.
• Provide mentorship and coaching on Power Apps development best practices.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and risks with BI team members and business partners.
