Qualifications
Post Secondary education in a field related to diesel engines or equivalent.
Experience working on generators, gensets, or related heavy equipment.
Experience with AC voltages and motor control centers.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Caterpillar Power Systems on customer sites.
Conduct pre-job hazard assessments for mechanical repairs.
Submit accurate service reports and perform troubleshooting.
Skills
Experience in the repair on generators and diesel engines
Familiarity with AC voltages from 600V to 13.8kV
Knowledge of control systems, PLCs and instrumentation
Understanding of switchgear and transfer switches
Education
