Job summary
Eaton Corporation is seeking a Power System Automation Specialist to design, implement, commission and support advanced power automation and monitoring systems across customer sites in Canada. You will lead technical projects, collaborate with clients and engineering teams, and ensure reliable power management solutions.
The role requires travel to customer sites, strong PLC/SCADA skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in industrial environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with industrial automation, power automation, PLC programming, SCADA systems, system integration, or related technologies.
- Experience commissioning and supporting industrial control or power management systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP, Ethernet).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC, HMI, SCADA, and power automation solutions for customer applications.
- Lead implementation, startup, testing and commissioning of automation systems.
- Coordinate activities with project teams and customers to ensure delivery.
