Job summary

eStruxture Data Centers seeks a senior leader to own energy and real estate strategy for nationwide data center expansion. You will architect grid interconnection, partner with utilities, and source greenfield and brownfield sites.

You will guide executives with data-driven insights, model financial outcomes, and negotiate high-stakes contracts. This role demands strong collaboration with legal, construction, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior roles including investment banking / M&A, consulting, energy procurement, utilities, or heavy industrial power systems.
• Experience in data center, colocation, telecom, cloud, managed services, infrastructure, or broader B2B tech sectors is an asset.
• Knowledge of Canadian electricity markets (AESO, IESO, HQ, BC Hydro) and wholesale market participation.
• Experience supporting executives and cross-functional teams with data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of grid interconnection, utility partnerships, and energy sourcing.
• Negotiate land, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and interconnection terms.
• Oversee regulatory affairs, public policy, and leadership communications.
• Drive procurement strategy in conjunction with Construction, Operations and Finance teams.
• Manage supply chain and inventory planning aligned with rapid site expansion.
