West Fraser is currently seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to join our team at our Hinton Division in Alberta. You'll Do

  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the Biomass Facility
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the CDK kilns, including loading and unloading
  • Perform Kiln changes and other duties as needed

You Have

  • A valid 4th class power engineering designation including firing time
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed
  • Physical ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills


Compensation Package

  • The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location.
