Select People Solutions is seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer for a short-term on-site assignment in Taber, Alberta. The successful candidate will operate and monitor boilers, compressors and auxiliary equipment, performing routine inspections and maintaining logs.

You will work with maintenance and production crews, apply safety standards, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliant operation. The role is full-time for ~2 weeks with daytime hours and a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 4th Class Power Engineer Certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of boilers, pressure systems and plant utilities.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and operating procedures.
• Ability to work independently within an established operation.
