Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in locating and isolating system problems.
2. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
3. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs.
4. Maintain a daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
5. Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operation.
6. Operate automated or computerized control systems.
7. Perform routine equipment maintenance.
8. Regulate water levels.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Stationary Engineer 4th Class certification.
• Experience with equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of alarms, compressors, cooling towers, electronic controls, generators, HVAC, high-pressure boilers, pneumatic controlled switchboards, pumps, switches, and valves.
• Specialization in heating, maintenance, mechanical engineering technology, ventilation, security, and safety.
• Criminal record check required.
• Transportation/travel availability; public transportation accessible.
• Own tools/equipment, steel-toed safety boots.
