A local agricultural company in Manitoba is seeking experienced truck drivers for the upcoming potato harvest. Drivers will operate well-maintained tri axle trucks, available from September to early October. A valid class 5 license is necessary, with preference given to class 1 and 3 drivers. • Maintain safety standards while operating vehicles.

Job description

Spud Plains Farms Ltd. is seeking experienced truck drivers for the upcoming potato harvest.

We run a fleet of well maintained tri axle trucks with live bottom potato boxes and electric tarps.

We have mechanics on the farm to service the trucks as needed.

Our harvest season begins September 1 and runs until approx the first week of october.

In season hours are from 7 am to 7:30 pm six days a week (depending on weather)

Light suppers provided

Preseason training available for drivers as needed

Drivers must have experience driving a standard transmission tandem axle or tri axle truck, we do have some automatic transmissions

Drivers must have a valid class 5 or better drivers license

Class 3 and 1 drivers preferred

Previous experience and or farm background is an asset

Possibility of semi operation for the right class 1 driver to run a Live Bottom tri axle trailer.

We have a full service campground (15 sites)with 2 showers and 2 washrooms on site.
