Job description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a licensed and experienced mental health professional to provide counselling services specifically tailored to individuals experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, or adjustment disorders following childbirth. The ideal candidate is passionate about maternal mental health and has experience working with perinatal populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual therapy sessions for clients experiencing postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs)
  • Provide psychoeducation and coping strategies to clients and families
  • Assess client needs through interviews, observations, and standardized assessments
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, pediatricians, doulas, and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in maternal mental health
  • Facilitate support groups or educational workshops, if applicable

Preferred Skills:
- Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Cantonese
