Hourly Range: 31.05
We are seeking an energetic individual to provide and coordinate doula support and care to post-partum women for a multi-year study carried out at Yale New Haven Health and community settings. The study aims to improve the quality of healthcare offered to women of color during the post-partum period to help prevent/manage hypertension and mental health outcomes following community-engaged approaches. The successful candidate must have training and hands-on experience in community-engaged programs and research projects, with a demonstrable commitment to addressing health inequities from a social determinants of health perspective. This individual will report to EMPOWER program leadership at the Yale School of Public Health.
All candidates will undergo pre-employment background screening, which may include motor vehicle, DOT certification, drug testing, and credit checks, contingent upon successful completion of the background check. Certain positions may require specific health-related tests or vaccinations as mandated by law or policy.
