• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making in emergencies
• Meticulous record keeping and incident reporting
• Operate security room equipment including CCTV cameras
• Vehicle patrols as required

Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard- Casuals in Sarnia , ON Canada.

Job Title: Security Guard - Casuals

Job Location: Sarnia , ON

Pay Rate: $23.04 per hour

Shifts: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; Various Shifts; (7:00-1500, 15:00-23:00, 23:00-07:00)

NOTE : Employees are required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance while on duty to ensure compliance with the site's grooming and professional appearance standards. Beards, moustaches, and facial hair are not permitted.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
