The Geotechnical and Soil Dynamics Lab at Université de Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada) is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to cutting-edge research in geotechnical engineering. If you’re passionate about soil dynamics, innovative infrastructure solutions, and collaborative science, we want to hear from you!

You will work on projects addressing challenges in soil-structure interaction, seismic risk mitigation, liquefaction, or sustainable geomaterials. This role combines numerical modeling, experimental testing, and fieldwork to advance resilient infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and execute lab / field experiments.
  • Develop numerical models for soil behavior under dynamic loads.

Qualifications :

  • PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (completed or near completion).
  • Expertise in numerical modeling (e.g., FLAC) and experimental methods.
